Update on the Marieta Islands Case

The program of cleaning and sanitation of the natural sanctuary in Marieta Islands continues, but as project progress are evident and to mitigate the impact on the tourism industry has established a guided walking route for a segment of the islands of about 350 meters, although the main attraction, Lovers Beach, remains restricted.


The temporary measure will allow up to 9 groups a day to a visit a stretch of the islands where visitors can observe the rich variety of fauna and flora of the region, each of the groups consist of up to 12 people and visits will be guided by a CONANP group of commissioners.
