Puerto Vallarta Net offers new website

Puerto Vallarta is a top beach destination in the state of Jalisco in Mexico. This once unknown Mexican fishing village was abruptly placed on the tourism map by John Huston, when he decided to film “The Night of the Iguana” in Puerto Vallarta of all places in the World.

John Huston decided to cast Ava Gardner, Deborah Kerr and Richard Burton in the movie, but it was the scandalous affair between Burton and Elizabeth Taylor that brought the US media down in droves to Vallarta, expecting a lot of news and conflicts to feed their newspapers and magazines. Not much happened, the movie shooting went as smooth as silk, stated Huston and the stars behaved well, so the media staff turned to Puerto Vallarta for their news and this attracted lots of visitors from the U.S. and it has never stopped. Since then Puerto Vallarta has developed more and more into a World-class tourist destination.

The city now offers more than 15,000 hotel beds, 5 star hotels and resorts, respected tour and activities companies, bars, nightclubs and a very Mexican flavor, which has not been lost in all the passing years.

Puerto Vallarta dot Net is one of the oldest websites that feature this town and it’s attractions. Recently the company has remodeled their site and will soon start promoting services through BestDay, trying to improve their service and variety of offerings on the site.

Currently the live Puerto Vallarta web cam on the site is the main attraction, the oldest and best located cam in town, roves around showing constantly changing views of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
