Day of San Pancho in Nayarit

Around Puerto Vallarta there are several small towns with a rich expression of Mexican tradition and one of its greatest exponents is north of the city. The charismatic town of San Francisco (popularly known as San Pancho), celebrated with nine days of festivities, between September 25 and October 4, on behalf of their local saint San Francisco de Asis.


Parades, food festivals, musical groups, traditional dances and other activities make up the calendar of this celebration that has been developed for more than 40 years in the region and which invites residents and visitors  to participate.
