New York shines with colors of Spain

– The Empire State building in New York celebrated, for second consecutive night, Spain’s victory in the Soccer World Cup 2010, lighting the top of the legendary skyscraper with the Iberian national flag colors.

The committee that selects the colors that every night light up the skyscraper, which King Kong crowned, decided on Sunday to discontinue the scheduled agenda and skipped lighting the building with purple, pink and yellow in honor of a noble initiative promoting animal adoption.

Through social networks like Twitter it was made public, on Sunday, the day of the historic Spanish victory, there was a short delay in the onset of illumination, but shortly thereafter that, the Empire State Building managers surprised the Spaniards and the whole world with the projection of the colors of the country’s flag that were crowned World Cup champions.
