The most recent release of Harry Potter has earned $330.1 million worldwide during its first weekend at the theaters worldwide, said Warner Brothers, producer of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, on Sunday
The first part of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ pocketed 125.1 million in the U.S. and 205 million worldwide, the studio said in a statement.
“It’s really a cinematic phenomenon, and it is only the debut of the penultimate installment of the series,” said Dan Fellman, head of film distribution in America in the statement.
Veronika Kwan-Rubinek, responsible for international distribution, said: “We are delighted with the enthusiastic response from audiences around the world.”
The seventh and final film in the popular movie of the young wizard, Harry Potter, was written by British author JK Rowling and is divided into two parts, the second of which has already been filmed, but will be released next year.
